New Hope's Beliefs

New Hope Church is a family who holds beloved the following beliefs:

About Human Beings

People are made in God’s image, which means we are spiritual beings with a soul. We were created by God to have a personal relationship with Him. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in life.

Scripture References: Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2

About Salvation

Salvation is God’s free present but each person must settle whether or not they will accept it. We can never make up for our sins by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness, can we be saved from sin’s penalty. When we change from our self-ruled lives and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved. Eternal being begins the moment we acquire Jesus Christ into our lives by faith.

Scripture References: Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6, John 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1

New Hope is cuddly and coupley

Along a now-forgotten street, New Hope, Pennsylvania was once considered the halfway point between Philadelphia and New York City. Today it’s still a place to rest, relax, and prepare for other journeys. Gay-friendly and quaint, this welcoming village is matchless for those looking to escape the city and to get lovey-dovey thick in the country.

You’ll discover New Hope in Bucks County, a place dotted with one cute town after another. It sits on the Delaware River and Delaware Canal; so, if you’re looking for a picturesque pastoral setting, look no further. In the last half-century, gays and lesbians have discovered the beauty that brought in artists early the 1900s. You will experience as though you’re stepping back in time. Certainly the modern conveniences are there, but without the modern encumbrances. You big-city types may have to slam on the brakes to appreciate the harmony of mind you’ll uncover there. New Hope provides the perfect setting for replacing that annoying cell phone with the affectionate, probably somewhat neglected hand of your partner.

Though little, the town packs in a sophisticated collection of things to do. Stroll along Main Street and the
