A gay or bisexual person, whether they identified as gay early on or not, who first starting sleeping withthe same sex in late life.
Actress Meredith Baxter qualifies as a silver star gay since she has stated that for many years she knew that something was different about her and why her relationships with men failed but didn't realize what until she began her first same-sex association in 2002. In this case she has come to terms with her homosexuality and identifies as a lesbian.

A queer man or queenly queen who is at the queer bar/clubs on every possible occasion and believes that his popularity at the gay bar somehow gives him social status. The Queer Bar Super Celestial body usually holds a meaningless, low wage job during the day, such as a convenience store clerk or McDonald's drive through attendant.

A type of sex policing based on the idea that a lesbian- identified person is of a higher ranking if they've never had sexual contact with a "man". This reinforces the oppressive idea that a person must have been born with a physiological penis in arrange to be a man, and discriminates against FtM (Female to Male) Transgendered people. It also reinforces the transphobic thought that a person who was born with a biological penis cannot legitimately be considered a womyn (and discriminates against MtF- Male to Female- individuals.) Sex Policing like this is dangerous to our communities because it supports destructive sexist ideals, and encourages the creation of rules and regulations about sexuality & gender rather than encouraging to oppose & break those rules.

Andy Cohen wears his "gold star gay" status with pride. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host often talks about being a GSG, which means he's never slept with a woman.
Lance Bass, on the other hand, is not a GSG, admitting on WWHL that he had been with women before he came out as gay.
"It was well before because I was with a woman. I understand, breaking news!" Bass said.

"'Gold-star gay status' is a term that Andy Cohen used to portray his sexuality. He said that he’s gay, and he’s never been with a woman, so he’s not just gay — he’s gold-star gay," Masini told Personal Space. "Someone like Lance Bass, who is also gay, but who has had sex with women, would not be described as gold star gay because he hasn’t been with only men. He’s gay, but he’s been with women in the past."
She continued, "Just so you know, this isn’t just a designation for gay men. Queer women can be described as 'gold-star lesbians.' This is a term that some people use to describe lesbians who include never had sex with men."

A bi (with both homo & hetero attraction) person who has only been sexually intimate with members of the antonym sex if those partners own been sexually intimate with people of their same gender, i.e. A bisexual who has only been with other card-carrying bisexuals.
e.g. a bisexual man who's only female partners have had queer woman relationships, or a bisexual lady who has never had sex with any men who lack any MLM (gay) sexual experience.
